Rachel and Esteban had a beautiful Dulany’s Overlook wedding day in Frederick, Maryland. This couple was the absolute sweetest, and we loved being a part of their wedding day!

About this Dulany’s Overlook Wedding

They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with views of rolling hills behind the estate. Esteban’s family is Spanish, and the officiant performed the ceremony in English and Spanish. I though this was so sweet! Rachel and Esteban shared a sacred foot washing ceremony. This was an intimate moment for them both and shows how much love and compassion they have for one another. This ceremony is a symbol of being humble and willing to serve one another.

One of our favorite features about this venue is the beautiful view of the sunset! It made for stunning golden hour bride and groom portraits where you could just see the sun setting over the hills.

When I asked Rachel about their love story, here is what she had to say!

“Three has always been my lucky number. It was only meant to be that during our 3rd year of dating, my soon-to-be husband Esteban got down on his knee, presented me with a 3 stone diamond ring of my dreams, and asked me to marry him! I couldn’t help but say 3 ecstatic letters, “YES!!!” Followed by 3 heartfelt words, “I LOVE YOU!!!” Now it will be the 3 of us (me, Esteban, and God) taking on the world together!”

Rachel and Esteban are both Physician Assistants and met in school. What started off as study buddies turned into a close friendship turned into them dating, as Esteban pursued her with gentleness, kindness, and respect. We love getting to know all of our couples we get to serve, and it was obvious us to us that these two were so in love and perfectly made for one another.
