Kaitlin & Eric’s Coastal North Florida Wedding

As a North Florida wedding photographer, I can honestly say that Kaitlin and Eric’s wedding day was one of those celebrations that perfectly showcases why couples choose the coast for their “I do.” The soft breeze, the palms swaying in the background, and the golden sunset over the water created a setting that was nothing short of magical.

Getting Ready by the Coast

Kaitlin spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids, who looked stunning in their deep green dresses. The soft tones of the dresses paired so beautifully with the natural greenery and sea grass just outside. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional—from her white and green florals to the coastal-inspired details woven throughout the day. Watching Kaitlin step into her gown, the room fell quiet for a moment. She looked radiant, and I couldn’t wait to capture Eric’s reaction when he saw her for the first time.

A Ceremony with Water Views

The ceremony space was breathtaking. With the water as the backdrop, palm trees and tall seagrass framed the aisle in the most natural, coastal way. White and green floral arrangements tied everything together with an elegant simplicity. As Kaitlin walked down the aisle toward Eric, you could see how much this moment meant to them both. Photographing their vows with the ocean glistening behind them was one of those moments that makes me so grateful to be a North Florida wedding photographer.

Portraits Along the Shoreline

After the ceremony, we moved to the shoreline for portraits. The light was soft, golden, and perfect—my favorite kind of light to photograph in. Photographing the first dances with that kind of sunset glowing in the background felt like pure magic. The joy on everyone’s faces as they celebrated Kaitlin and Eric was contagious, and the night unfolded with laughter, music, and plenty of dancing.

As the evening came to a close, I stepped back for a moment to take in the view—friends and family gathered under the glowing tent, music floating through the air, and the water reflecting the last light of the day.
