Booking a boudoir session can feel both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. Many of my clients walk in saying, “I’m not sure what to expect”—and that’s completely normal! My job as your Tallahassee boudoir photographer is to guide you through the entire experience so that you feel comfortable, confident, and completely celebrated.

A Warm Welcome & Getting Comfortable

When you arrive, the first thing we’ll do is take a few minutes to settle in, chat, and go over the outfits you brought. This time helps ease any nerves and allows us to create a plan together for your session.

I’ll walk you through the flow of the shoot and answer any last-minute questions. My priority is making sure you feel safe, supported, and excited.

Outfit Planning & Styling

We’ll choose 2–4 outfits from what you’ve brought along. This might include lingerie, bodysuits, cozy sweaters, robes, or even something meaningful like your partner’s shirt. I’ll help you decide what will photograph best and how to style each look.

💡 Tip: Don’t stress about sizes or perfection—I’ll pose and light you in the most flattering ways so you look amazing no matter what.

Professional Hair & Makeup (Optional but Recommended)

While I don’t provide hair and makeup services directly, I highly recommend working with a professional stylist before your session. They know how to create looks that enhance your features and photograph beautifully.

If you need suggestions, I’d be happy to recommend some incredible Tallahassee artists I trust.

Guided Posing Throughout the Shoot

This is the part most clients worry about—but I promise, you don’t need to know a single pose before you arrive. I’ll direct you through every step, from how to place your hands to how to tilt your chin.

I’ll even demonstrate poses for you so you know exactly what to do. Most clients are surprised by how quickly they relax and start having fun!

A Comfortable, Relaxed Environment

Your session is private, empowering, and designed around you. Whether we’re shooting in a hotel, Airbnb, or your own space, I’ll create a comfortable environment where you can let go of nerves.

And if you’re ever unsure or need a break—we pause. This is all about you and your comfort.

Sneak Peeks & Final Reveal

After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit your images to highlight your natural beauty. Within a short time, you’ll get to see your gallery and choose your favorite images for prints, albums, or digital collections.
